The HKIHRM Manpower Statistics Survey has been collecting data to track manpower movements in the labour market in Hong Kong.
Summary of Turnover & Vacancy rate
Remarks:
1. The turnover rate and job vacancy rate showed in weighted average
2. The turnover rates captured in this survey are voluntary resignations. Any turnover caused by voluntary or involuntary redundancy, dismissal or retirement are excluded.
Formula
1. The formula for Turnover rate is: (total no. of voluntary resignations / average number of total employees)*100
2. The formula for Vacancy rate is: (average number of vacancies / average number of targeted manpower)*100
